If working on or near the water it is imperative to consider water safety for your staff, and understand how weather and tides could affect your schedules. DMG Sailsports provides comprehensive water safety consultancy and rescue cover to engineering companies, county councils or indeed any business working on or near the water. Consultancy may include site analysis, water safety equipment, procedural safety advice, precautions when near the water, rescue cover.
Safety & Consultancy: Working On Or Near The Water Providing water safety support and consultancy at the Iarnród Éireann Viaduct works on Broadmeadows Estuary, Malahide, Co. Dublin. Support is provided by drivers who are qualified powerboat users, first aiders and highly experienced water users. Consultancy includes experienced knowledge of tides and weather, safety procedures and recommended equipment. |

Water Safety Consultant & Reporting Granada Media Group Ltd "Package Holidays Under Cover 2005" commissioned Dave Garvey as a Water Safety Consultant to travel to the Bahamas to examine the safety of the watersports operation at a beach in the Bahamas following the aftermath of accidents and deaths of tourists to the area. |

Expert Witness Report Good & Murray Smith & Company (Solicitors): Dave Garvey of DMG Sailsports was commissioned to carry out an investigation and provide an expert witness report in relation to an action brought concerning injuries sustained in a watersports accident. |

Start Up Business Consultancy Provide consultancy for development of course programs and the setup of outdoor education training centres. Instructor training programs designed and carried out for individual clubs and associations. |

With 15+ years of project management experience, we have organised, provided support and input to industry events including the list below:
- Windsurf Across the Irish Sea in aid of AWARE (which aims to fight depression). With donations from individuals and large organisations, Dave & Cora raised over €6,000 for Aware. Dave just had to windsurf across the Irish Sea...!
- As a celebration of our move to a new office, and during the 2008 On the Water Boat Show in Malahide Marina, 10% of all courses booked, attended and any cash donations were given to to Children's University Hospital - Temple Street. This donation went towards the Cystic Fibrosis Unit.
- Irish Windsurfing Festival / Fleadh Sheoil na hÉireann was organised, publicised and managed along with Surfdock in 2007 and 2008 at Malahide Yacht Club, Broadmeadows Estuary.
- Group and corporate training events & courses organised for large organisations
- Client publicity & co-ordination for the inaugural Metmasts.ie and Arklow Sailing Club Turbines Yacht Race 2008
We provide personalised training to customers of boat sales companies such as BJ Marine, Carrickcraft, MGM Marine and Bluewater Marine.
